New concrete should cure for at least 28 days before sealing. After that, sealing within the first 6 months of installation is ideal — this is when sealing delivers the biggest long-term protection benefit. Older concrete can absolutely still be sealed; we’ll clean and prep it first to ensure the sealer bonds properly.

Sealers come in a range of finishes — matte, satin, semi-gloss, and high-gloss. Most deepen and enrich the existing color of the concrete slightly, similar to how water makes it look darker when wet.
